Contact Lens Confidence Consultation

Expert, Unbiased Guidance for Clear, Comfortable Vision

See Clearly and Comfortably with Contact Lenses

Choosing contact lenses—or figuring out why your current lenses aren’t working—can feel overwhelming. With so many brands, materials, and wearing schedules available, it’s common to wonder whether the lenses being recommended are truly the best option for your eyes and comfort. Dr. Valarie Jerome, OD offers the Contact Lens Confidence Consultation through secure telemedicine to provide clear, unbiased guidance—so you can make confident decisions without pressure.

This virtual consultation is perfect for anyone considering contact lenses, returning to contacts after a break, or experiencing discomfort, dryness, or vision issues with their current lenses.

Truly Unbiased Contact Lens Advice

During this consultation, Dr. Jerome’s role is purely advisory. She does not sell contact lenses and has no financial interest in which lenses you ultimately choose. This allows her to focus entirely on what’s best for your eyes, comfort, vision needs, and lifestyle—without influence from product sales or brand incentives.

Many patients appreciate having a trusted professional explain their options clearly, answer questions honestly, and help them understand whether a different lens type, material, or wearing schedule may improve comfort and vision.

How This Consultation Can Help You

During your one-on-one telemedicine visit, Dr. Jerome will help you:

  • Decide whether contact lenses are a good option for your eyes and daily routine
  • Understand how contact lenses can improve your vision based on your prescription
  • Learn about different contact lens wearing schedules, including daily, weekly, and monthly options
  • Understand contact lens materials and how they affect comfort, dryness, and visual clarity
  • Troubleshoot contact lens issues such as irritation, dryness, blurry vision, or reduced wearing time
  • Explore options if contact lenses haven’t worked well for you in the past
  • Find a local provider to further assist you with your in-person contact lens fitting.

Supporting Contact Lens Comfort & Dry Eye Care

Comfort in contact lenses is closely tied to the health of the ocular surface. If your intake forms suggest that dry eye may be contributing to contact lens discomfort or vision issues, Dr. Jerome may recommend a Dry Eye Wellness Consultation in addition to your Contact Lens Confidence Consultation.

A Personalized, Comfort-Focused Approach

Dr. Jerome takes time to understand your visual needs, screen use, dry eye symptoms, and past contact lens experiences. Her goal is to help you find contact lens options that prioritize long-term eye health and comfort, not just convenience or cost.

Coordinating In-Person Care

If contact lenses are appropriate, Dr. Jerome can help you identify a local eye care provider who can perform the required in-person contact lens fitting, measurements, and evaluations. This ensures you receive hands-on care while benefiting from expert, unbiased guidance beforehand.
