I also know that varifocals are not for everyone and aren't the solution to all patients – particularly those working on computers many hours a day. I have always taken my time to listen to what the patient’s needs are and prescribe the best spectacles for their prescription, work and lifestyle. I do recognise varifocals are a big investment and I have always wanted patients to get their money's worth out of the glasses.
